Higher Hemp’ Provides CBD for Our Health

A CBD dispensary from San Diego, California called Higher Hemp provides customers with high-quality medicinal grade products, with the environment at the forefront of their business. Higher Hemp was co-founded by Nicholas Bernabe and Andrae  Aldrete, who wanted to distinguish their brand by working with suppliers who shared their passion for the environment. Plastic pollution is one of the main issues we are currently facing. It was important to them, that they were not adding to this problem. Higher Hemp decided to lead by exa mple and has chosen to use hemp plastic alternatives for its packaging and many of their products.

CBD stands for cannabidiol

which is derived from the hemp plant and offers safe natural alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs without psychoactive effects or dependencies. CBD has many medicinal properties including its amazing ability to help children who suffer from epilepsy with their seizures. CBD is also used for the relief of chronic pain, anxiety, and sleep disorders.

It was extremely important to Andrae and the team at Higher Hemp to find an alternative to petroleum-based plastic. They are now working together with Sana Packaging and The Hemp Plastic

Sana Packaging is made from 100% plant-based hemp plastic, 100% reclaimed ocean plastic and other sustainable materials. They currently specialize in sourcing for the CBD and cannabis industries, providing packages that promote a circular economy. Higher Hemp uses Sana package tubes for their CBD joints, blunts, and vape cartridges, among other things.

The Hemp Plastic Company produces biopolymer products made from renewable materials that are sustainable, and in some cases compostable. They use a unique process that utilizes many different hemp materials for the creation of their products, and now have a library of fine hemp plastics including propylene, ethylene, ABS, and PLA, which Higher Hemp utilizes for its packaging and shipping needs. These bioplastics are renewable, sustainable and often made using agricultural waste.

Company.

As consumers, we have both the ability and the right to make mindful decisions in our daily lives that can have an impact on our environment and this beautiful planet. By supporting companies like Higher Hemp, and their suppliers, it not only shows you care but can have a lasting economic impact as well.

Currently, hemp bioplastics and other alternatives to petroleum-based materials cost more money. But, as the number of people and companies who choose to support these and like-minded companies. The price will reduce and become mainstream. This will help drive money toward more innovative research.

For the folks at Higher Hemp, it makes them feel good that not only are they providing CBD with all of its wonderful medicinal benefits, but doing so with eco-friendly packaging as well and leading by example. “We’re happy to be one of the companies leading the way and hopefully influencing other companies to do the same,” said Aldrete.

The CBD industry has been steadily growing the past few years, and there are many different brands for people to choose from. You can be sure if you choose Higher Hemp, your buying from a company that cares.
